What byline is

byline is brand memory for creators. It reads eligible work from the sources you connect, learns from what it processes, and makes that context available to supported AI tools.

It can build a living profile from your processed work and the notes you send to your workspace inbox: your voice, themes, and available audience signals. A connected AI tool can retrieve that profile when ready; the host does not automatically use it in every draft.

What it reads

  • Your Instagram posts and reels
  • Your website or blog
  • Your YouTube videos
  • Email text sent from the inbox owner or an allowed sender to a workspace inbox you create

For Instagram it also reads the comments and current like/comment counts around your work. For YouTube it follows comments and performance over time, so byline can learn not just what you said but what landed.

The promise in one line

Your workspace memory, available to supported AI tools.

Connect your own content, let byline read it, and give supported tools a shared starting point for your voice. You can spend less time pasting the same background into each conversation. Check the selected workspace, source evidence, and resulting draft: connecting a source alone does not make a profile or draft ready.

Grounded, not guessed

byline builds a profile from your own content and supplies supporting material for its Ideas. These are model-generated interpretations, not guaranteed facts. Inspect the available evidence, compare claims with the original work, and correct anything that does not fit. A citation helps you check an answer; it does not guarantee that every claim is supported or that a model cannot invent details.

Who it's for

byline is for people who write for a living: solo founders, creators, ghostwriters, anyone whose voice is the product. If you keep re-teaching your tools how you sound, byline can hold that context. To use it from an AI tool, that host and your plan must support custom remote MCP connections.

Where to start

Three small steps, in order:

  1. Choose a plan and complete payment, then connect one channel of your own work: Instagram, a newsletter, your site, or YouTube.
  2. Glance at your voice card to see what byline learned about you.
  3. In a tool that supports custom remote MCP, add the byline connection link and complete that host's authorization flow. Select the right workspace, then explicitly ask the tool to retrieve byline context.

Ask the connected tool to search byline for your work or retrieve your profile before drafting, then check its citations and output. If an old or expired grant no longer works, reconnect and authorize it again. See the connection guide.

Eligible first-time payers can start either monthly plan for US$0.99 for one month, with Creator reading allowances. It then renews at US$29/month for Creator or US$99/month for Studio unless cancelled. Signup itself does not grant reading access, and annual plans do not include the introduction.
