Want posts that sound like you, not a template?

byline reads what you've already published, learns how you write, and gives that voice to Claude and ChatGPT, so the next post starts from you.

Questions

About the tweet generator

Is this tweet generator free?

Yes. It's a free tool with no sign-up and no limit on how many times you use it.

Does it use AI?

Two ways, both on your device. The quick drafts come from templates, instantly. If your browser has a built-in AI model, or your computer can run one, it can also write posts with AI: the model runs on your device, so nothing you type is sent to byline or anyone else.

What is the character limit on X?

280 characters for accounts without Premium (checked November 2026). X counts links and some characters, like emoji, differently, so leave a little room.

Does it work for Threads and LinkedIn?

Yes. The ideas are plain text. Threads allows up to 500 characters and LinkedIn up to 3,000, so you have room to add more.

How do I get posts that sound like me?

Connect what you publish to byline. It reads what you've already published, builds a profile of how you write, and gives that profile to Claude and ChatGPT when you draft. $0.99 for your first month for eligible monthly payers, no free trial.
