Questions
About the hashtag generator
Is this hashtag generator free?
Yes. It's a free tool with no sign-up and no limit on how many times you use it.
Does it know which hashtags are popular?
No. It builds hashtags from your words and common patterns; it has no view of how many posts use each one. Search them on the platform to see what's actually there.
How many hashtags should I use on Instagram?
Instagram allows up to 30 on a post. A handful of specific, relevant tags is easier to keep on-topic than a long list.
How many hashtags can a YouTube video have?
Keep it to a few. YouTube shows the first three with the video, and ignores every hashtag on a video that has more than 15.
Does it use AI?
No. It builds each set from templates in your browser, so the same input always gives the same results. It runs in your browser: nothing you type is sent to byline or stored.
